Join Lela for this refreshing Saturday morning practice – the perfect way to start your beautiful summer weekend. You will learn the basic tenets of mindfulness practices, including seated and walking meditation. Lela will also guide yogic breathing practices, pranayama, to prepare the mind and body for meditation.
These meditation practices will help you to:
- Cultivate a steady mind to reduce stress and anxiety
- Share in the experience of true restfulness without having to be on vacation
- Become more skillful with how you react to situations
There will be a small amount of movement prior to sitting. Seated meditation period will not exceed 20 minutes. No previous meditation or yoga experience required. Chairs and cushions are provided.
Three Saturdays. $40 or $15 to drop-in. Class packages do not apply.
