Do you find it difficult to relax, or do you think restorative yoga is a waste of time? If so, then this is the class for you! During class, you will learn what happens to the body during deep relaxation and how it is different from meditation and sleep. Lisa will give you suggestions on how to settle into each pose, so as to fully reap the benefits of the pose. Lisa Sandquist believes that restorative yoga in general is very important for your mind and body. She also believes that savasana (final resting or corpse pose), in particular, is one of the most advanced and important poses to practice. Restorative yoga, in which the body is fully supported by props, promotes lower blood pressure and respiratory rate, facilitation of digestion, improves sleep, fertility and healing. No previous experience required; this workshop is appropriate for all levels. $35 or save $5 if registered 3 days in advance.
